Scientists and artists disagree on whether white is a colour.
The colour wheel is a useful guide when you are thinking about the palette to use with your white or cream kitchen. Devised by Sir Isaac Newton in 1666 it is the first circular diagram of the colour spectrum.

Cream kitchens are as versatile and compatible
as white but have a bit of warmth and depth of
colour as well. Cream is the next favourite
colour choice and, again, can easily be paired
with almost any other colour to create a clean,
warm space that will always look fashionable.

We recently designed and installed this white kitchen for a client in Sevenoaks. It illustrates how white can fit with any colour scheme of your preference.
The white cabinets occupy about 70% of the
space in the design but what draws your eye?
That's right, it's the blue on the feature wall.
The blue wall is a combination of glass and
cool white LED lighting above and under the
wall units. Blue may or may not do it for you,
the point is it could be any colour that you want
it to be, with white any colour is compatable.
